Air heating element
|
1. Types
Blowing PTC air heater: Insulated heater with wave radiator, non-insulated heater with wave radiator, insulated heater with inserted foil radiator, insulated heater with comb radiator, heater for compressed air.
PTC air heater with fan:Non-insulated heater with fan, insulated heater with fan.
Convection PTCair heater.There is no a fan, the heat is dispersed by air convection.
Temperature controlled PTC air heater: A temperature control unit is assembled, the temperature can be controlled within a tolerance of ±2℃. |
2. Some appliances.
Blowing type: room heater, bathroom heater, air conditioner heater, drying room heater, clothes dryer, hand dryer, discharging load for battery.
Convection type: moisture and dew proof for electronic equipments, heating for electronic control case, room heater. |
3. Notice in appliance.
Blowing air heater:
1) This type of PTC air heater need a fan to blow, usually the faster is the air blowing speed, the larger is the power.
2)
Please tell us, if PTC heater is intended to use in very low ambient temperature, or in very strong air blowing.
3)
PTC heater does not be damaged without air blowing, but the power is very low.
4)
The power could be adjusted by air blowing speed, applied voltage, or the number of heaters.
5)
The surface temperature on heater without blowing would be very higher than with blowing. A thermostat could be assembled on the heater, preventing the damage of the holder.
6) The outlet air temperature depends on surface temperature on heater, intake air temperature air speed. Normally outlet air temperature is between 80~110℃; Other outlet air temperature could be special made.
7)
The radiator of non-insulated PTC air heater is electriferous.
8)
Higher is the surface temperature of PTC, the larger is the power; but the reliable, and life time are worse.
Convecting PTC air heater.
1) Heating power depends on assembling methods, direction of the heater;
2)
Keep air flowing itself for the heat could be diffused;
3)
The heating power will be increased, when the heater is assembled on a metal holder. |
