| PTC heating element with resin coating |
1. Configuration. |

The two wires are soldered on a PTC ceramic, and the ceramic is coated with phenolic resin or silicone.
2. Some samples of uses.
It is usually used in PCB boards to prevent freezing, dewing, moist. It’s small in size, simply in assembling, little in energy consuming, and could be soldered on PCB.
3. Notice in appliance.
1) PTC heating element can maintain constant temperature itself, control circuit and protecting circuit is not needed in the appliances.
2) Useful life is very long, normally the life is longer than 10 years.
3) Very reliable in use, it maintains constant temperature itself, it’s never over temperature.
4) Parallel connection is necessary for two or more PTC connecting.
